About Us

Lets be friends!

The Anti-Racism Initiative is a non-profit anti-racism organisation and registered charity dedicated to the promotion of racial harmony in Worcestershire and its surrounding areas.

We want to champion historically underrepresented racial minorities and bring different communities together. We hope to accomplish this through our innovative programmes.

Our Story

Our co-founders immigrated to England, Worcester, in 2015. They loved the city but also recognised the lack of multicultural representation and wanted to do their part to improve this.

Since 2020 they have helped introduce, organise, and co-lead Worcester's first Black History Month, International Remembrance of the Abolition of the Slave Trade and Windrush day. They have also delivered presentations to hundreds of teachers and students at schools and universities.

Their focus is on bringing people together and promoting understanding between different communities. A.R.I. is born out of the desire to put all this work together in order to maximise the potential for positive impact in the community!
